Idea 1: Pet vet Check application

Overview

With the current system that is in place with vets clinics and hospitals, pet owners struggle to communicate with vets to check on their pets when ongoing treatment. Most pet owners need a constant sense of ease that their furry friend is okay when ongoing medical treatment, and feel like a burden calling the vet for progress update.

A pet tracker application will allow pet owners to check in to see how their pets medical treatment is coming along. The application can also offer insurance sync, pet microchip request track, medications prescribed and a brief reason why as well as vaccinations- boosters, vaccinations given possibly holds animal international travel card signed by vet.

Pros

• Allows pet owners to keep up to date with their pets medical treatment and health details; vaccinations given, vaccinations needed, insurance details, payment records, pet microchip, international travel card.
• Allows pet owners to check in with pet progress when ongoing treatment and overnight stays reducing the worry and stress of pet owner and reduces vet reception calls.
• Provides features for making pets feel comfortable during overnight stays- (Requests for vets to say specific quotes or request a treat at a recognisable time for comfort)

Cons

• May consume too much of the vets time updating the app for multiple pets.
• May make owner worry if application is not updated/constant worry.
• May be only a specific user group to use the app, some people would prefer to hear from a person, not through an application. It

How might it be built?

I see this product working as a mobile application, as well as an Ipad application. As this will be a prototype It would most likely be built on Adobe XD or Figma.
