I am approaching IXD501 with the hope to push myself, learn new skills and create something unthought of. I would love this module to be very user experience based, finding real industry opportunities to solve a real-world problem that I could potentially use as a startup.

I would love for this module to be explorative, learning loads of interesting facts and stats to create an inspiring product that is immersive, user friendly and groundbreaking.

I don't want perfect hi-fis. To me, this module is researching the market, interviewing the users, creating low-fidelity mock-ups that are well thought out to start a well researched and solid ground for Semester Two.

This semester is about curiosity for me.

I don't really intend for this to be a real product that is my full-time job and that I sell. I want my final year project to build my skills, challenge me and make an amazing portfolio piece.

For this reason launch plans, social media, business plans are less important to me at this time - however, I have still touched on them all. This project has the ability to be sustainable as a startup if I so wanted it so, as it is super relatable to anyone with pets and also focuses on an area that hasn't much innovation.

My Aims For Final Year:

1️⃣ Solve A Problem: Create something that will help people/tackle a problem that people face. Make people's lives a bit easier!

2️⃣Push Myself: Push the boat out in terms of the work I'm doing, the tools I'm using and the research I'm doing.

3️⃣Get Some Firsthand User Research: Throughout my time in university, I've relied on the research of other people I've done and found validation in articles, books etc. This year I want to engage with my users and create a product that I know will help a specific user group

4️⃣Have confidence in my ability as a designer: One thing I have struggled with in the past is having confidence in my abilities. This semester/year I hope to grow my confidence by:
